Philanthropy & Associations
Brandi Lloyd joined the S-Works Construction team as a Senior Project Accountant in 2024 and was promoted to Corporate Controller in 2026. She began her accounting career in 2004 and has advanced through a wide range of accounting roles, including Accounts Payable Clerk, Billing Analyst, Procurement Officer, Sales and Use Tax Accountant, and Assistant Controller. As Corporate Controller, Brandi oversees the company’s accounting operations and financial reporting functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, and works closely with staff on project-related financials. She earned her Associate of Arts and Sciences in Accounting from Strayer University in 2009.
Adam Woodling (Senior Superintendent) joined the S-Works team in May of 2024. Adam is a highly experienced construction superintendent with over 20 years in the industry. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed a wide range of commercial and government projects working with many municipalities and federal departments including FBI, DEA, GSA, and the DOD to name a few. Adam is known for a steadfast commitment to safety, proactively implementing and enforcing safety protocols to create a secure work environment. A natural collaborator, Adam excels at building strong relationships with subcontractors, project managers, and clients, ensuring seamless teamwork and open communication on every project. This collaborative approach, combined with his expertise, adds significant value to each project, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Marcia Mounkhaty joined S-Works Construction in 2025 as Director of Preconstruction, bringing more than 18 years of experience with commercial general contractors. She began her career in 2006 at Dietze Construction, providing estimating support, and has since held roles including Director of Estimating, Senior Estimator, Estimator, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Coordinator.
In her current role, Marcia leads preconstruction efforts across diverse market sectors, overseeing early-phase project planning, conceptual budgeting, value engineering, and risk analysis. She also provides guidance to trade partners to ensure projects meet budget and schedule goals.
An active member of CREW Northern Virginia, Marcia enjoys collaborating with industry affiliations and fostering strong professional networks. Throughout her career, she has earned numerous recognitions, including being named Employee of the Year.
Marcia studied Business Management at University Juan Misael Saracho in Tarija, Bolivia, prior to launching her career in construction. She has also earned credits from CEI to strengthen her estimating skills, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and technical expertise.
Colin Hayes (Senior Superintendent) joined the S-Works Construction team in January of 2025, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the commercial construction industry. Colin has successfully overseen a wide array of complex and high-profile projects, including interior renovations, healthcare, education, government, diplomatic, mission-critical, and multi-family developments. He has managed these projects from preconstruction planning through final closeout across the Mid-Atlantic region.
At S-Works, Colin has lead field operations on projects in private banking, healthcare, and government sectors. His duties include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining rigorous quality control, safety, and ensuring precise schedule execution. He is known for his strategic field leadership and vast scheduling expertise, leveraging industry-leading tools and technologies like Microsoft Project, P6, and multiple Construction Management platforms. This expertise is critical for delivering fast-paced and complex projects safely, efficiently, and with the highest commitment to quality.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Colin instills a disciplined, team-first approach into every project. He studied Construction Management while serving and has cultivated specialized skills focusing on precision, accountability, mission-critical operations, and adaptive reuse construction.
Rob Nichols joined the S-Works team in February of 2025 as a Vice President. Rob began his career in 1986 as a superintendent. He has also performed other roles such as Project Manager and Director of Operations. In 1992 Rob formed Dietze Construction (with two partners) and ran the firm for 19 years as Principal / Managing Partner. Rob went on to run two other successful General Contracting firms. One as President and the other as COO. Rob specializes in leading smaller firms in growth to become disciplined and profitable bigger firms. His specialties in leading General Contracting firms are relationship building, recruiting and mentoring staff during growth, strategic planning, implementing processes to guide profitability, and leadership of firms to develop continuity and consistency of performance. In his extensive and long history of industry leadership Rob was selected as a 40 under 40 award winner by the Washington Business Journal, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for several organizations including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. Rob obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from George Mason University in 1986 and was a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society.
David Harrington joined the S-Works Construction team in 2024 and serves as a Project Executive. He brings more than a decade of construction experience with a focus on Job Order Contracting (JOC), municipal infrastructure, and government facility projects throughout Virginia and the D.C. metro region. David began his career as an intern with Centennial Contractors Enterprises and advanced through the positions of Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Senior Site Representative, ultimately leading Centennial’s Northern Virginia branch and overseeing the region, multiple joint ventures and JOC programs. He complements his project management background with hands-on field experience as both a foreman and safety supervisor.
At S-Works, David oversees project delivery across several JOC programs, leads client and subcontractor coordination, develops scopes and estimates, and supports both team and company growth. He is also working to expand and lead S-Works’ Central and Southern Virginia operations as the company continues its regional expansion.
Prior to his career, David attended Virginia Tech, where he earned a double major in Building Construction and Real Estate, graduating with honors.
Chris Perry joined the S-Works Construction team as a Vice President in 2024. He started his career as a Project Manager at HITT Contracting in 2007, growing his career to a Project Executive by 2022. Chris Perry is now our Director of the Southeast Region, located in Orlando, Florida. He is dedicated to ensuring project success and has vast project experience in base building, retail, hospitality, healthcare and government. Chris oversees the overall success of each project by closely monitoring client satisfaction, and adherence to financial, quality, safety, and scheduling goals. Before beginning his construction career, Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and later completed his MBA.
Camden Seiler (Vice President) joined the S-Works Construction team as a Senior Project Manager in 2023. He started his career as an intern at The Atkins Group in 2007, and has since held various titles, including Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, Construction Manager, Consultant, and Project Manager. Camden is responsible for the overall success of projects, and ensures success through monitoring client satisfaction, team effectiveness, and resource allocations, as well as the project’s financial, quality, safety, and schedule goals. Prior to his career in construction, Camden attended Purdue University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management Civil Engineering.
Caitie Holliday joined the S-Works Construction team as a Project Manager in 2022 and became Chief of Staff in 2023. She started her career as an intern at HITT Contracting in 2019. Since then, she has held various titles, including Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager. As Chief of Staff, Caitie helps streamline decision making processes, overseas staff, manage daily operations, and acts as a liaise with stakeholders and industry partners. Prior to her career in construction, Caitie attended Virginia Tech, where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Engineering and Management.
Richard “Rich” Ruckman joined the S-Works Construction team as Co-Owner and Chief Executive Officer in 2023. Rich started his career in 2006 as an intern at HITT Contracting, where he held various positions, including Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, and Vice President. Throughout his 20-years of experience in the construction industry, Rich has garnered extensive government construction experience, and specializes in Job Order Contracts (JOC), other IDIQ/Task Order government contracts, and TS/SCI level projects. Rich is a Certified JOC Professional (CJP) and winner of Loudoun Times 40 under 40. Prior to his career in construction, Rich attended Virginia Tech, where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management.
Joseph “Joe” Salama (President & Founder) founded S-Works Construction in 1997. He started his career as a bricklayer, and from there he worked his way up through various positions, including Surveyor, Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Vice President. Joe’s extensive experience in the construction industry gives him a complete picture of what it takes to see projects through from start to finish. As a native to Northern Virginia, Joe’s local connections and long-standing relationships are an asset when it comes to navigating the DMV area.
